    Marketing Event Intern

    Starting: November 2021

    What you will do

    • Assist the Events Manager in the organization and execution of major international trade shows and conferences, e.g. Consumer Electronics Show (CES), ITS World Congress, TechCrunch Disrupt, Paris Motor Show etc;
    • Coordinate, in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, the creation and rollout of marketing material, e.g. marketing demos, digital and print visuals, etc;
    • Support the event marketing team in day-to-day activities – internal events coordination, internal communication, etc:
    • Work autonomously on some specific projects you will be fully responsible for!!!

    What you will need

    • University /business school student in the final years of studies and you will be enrolled for the full duration of the internship;
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
    • Excellent time-management skills
    • Proactive, hands-on, problem-solving attitude;
    • Able to work autonomously and as a global team player;
    • A creative mind, with the ability to think out-of-the-box;
    • Be able to create innovative experiences while ensuring consistency with the TomTom strategy and Brand;
    • You will be available for a full-time internship for 6 or preferably 12 months.

    This event marketing internship will give you the opportunity to experience working for a fast-moving multinational company and allows you to contribute to the execution of our product strategy and marketing plans. You will have the chance to develop a considerable understanding of the IT industry, and work and learn from a team of dedicated professionals with extensive backgrounds in the high-tech and navigation, automotive and location technology sectors. By supporting the “MKT-Events” department, you will be able to experience various marketing roles across different business sectors within TomTom, overlooking virtually all B2B and B2C events as well as internal events.
