    Marketing Associate – Companion Animal Group

    As a Marketing Associate you will be part of the Global Marketing team of the IDEXX Companion Animal Group (CAG) and take on Marketing responsibilities for one of its commercial customer sectors.

    The Companion Animal Group (CAG), provides diagnostic capabilities that meet veterinarians’ diverse needs through a variety of modalities, including in-clinic diagnostic solutions and outside reference laboratory services. This Marketing Associate role reports into the Regional Marketing and Customer Programs team, which is in charge of developing and executing regional marketing plans, programs, pricing and tools aligned with global strategies and in close partnership with commercial teams.

    What you can expect in this role:

    As the Marketing Associate for our European Distributor markets, you will handle various marketing communications and customer education responsibilities. Main tasks will include:

    Manage communications to our distributor partners through e-mail and regular newsletters
    Review communication structure of newsletters and other communication materials to optimize clarity of message
    Partner with our distributors in executing marketing campaigns
    Manage the brand portal designed to provide content and guidelines to our distributor partners
    Organize regional customer education events in close collaboration with the IDEXX events team and our distributor partners, including vendor and speaker selection, travel and accommodation coordination, and events promotion and follow up
    Promote global customer education events in the distributor regions
    Organize internal events for our distributor partners in close collaboration with the IDEXX events team
    Track and analyze market data and KPIs
    Build and share internal updates on marketing campaigns
    Support the creation and reviews of annual pricelists
    Support future product launches and the annual marketing planning process for the distributor markets, in close collaboration with the commercial team
    Coordinate and manage various projects related to the distributor markets

    What you need to succeed:

    You possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing or Marketing Communications
    You bring a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience. Familiarity with the veterinary or healthcare field is an advantage
    You are available to work part-time, 20 hours a week
    You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of any other European languages a plus.
    You have an ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment.

    You have an ability to work individually and be responsible for your own projects, as well as to work in close collaboration with team members, our sales experts and our global marketing team
    You possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with e-mail tools a plus
    You have an ability to interact with multiple levels of management, external stakeholders and various functional departments
    You are organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
    You are proactive, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues
    You provide strong attention to detail
