About the role
We are a world Class International Supply Chain planning organisation which is based on standardised processes and ways of working. In order to do this, we’re looking to implement best practice in our planning approach, to optimise our Supply Chain leadership and to create a single reporting structure. The Market Planning team play a pivotal role in this as we work with 26 of our key markets in supply chain planning, logistics and inventory management to name a few.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with prior Supply Chain experience to further their career in a market planner position within our organisation. You will be supported to further develop capability around supply chain planning, managing stakeholder relationships, logistics & distribution, inventory optimisation and reporting & analytics.
We are looking for someone with relevant experience who is keen to increase their knowledge in a market-leading organisation.
You will encompass both formal training and on the job learning, and you will support market replenishment plans to ensure customer service and inventory provision is fully delivered.
You will also cooperate with a range of stakeholders both internal and external to Diageo whilst being responsive and flexible in their approach. You’ll also work on our supply production plans, despatch requirements and replenishment exceptions. A key part of the role is analysing and understanding the strategic direction of our volume trends by leading S&OP conversations with our markets.
To be successful in the role you will have proven experience in a similar, Supply Chain-focused, role- ideally around Planning, Logistics, Order Processing and/or Customer Service in a Supply Chain environment
You’ll have excel exposure and a experienced user of an ERP and/or planning system (SAP ECC6 and/or APO preferred)
It would be great if you have proven analytical skills and attention to details
You will have strong interpersonal skills with comfort in networking and influencing others
