You are driven and energetic and you can’t wait to start a 3 year development program at IKEA Netherlands. With this program you will develop yourself to a market manager.
IKEA Netherlands has in total 12 stores and every store has approximately 300 to 500 colleagues who all contribute to create a better everyday life for the many people. The market manager is end responsible together with the management team of the store.
Our work at IKEA never stands still. We’re doing things differently, for that we need Market Managers to lead the way, and this is where you come in. We’re always looking for people who think differently.
What you need to have:
You have a true passion for home furnishing and retail – you want to make the life at home better for the many people. You enjoy fast pace; retails offer’s this every day. At IKEA we like to do things differently, and you would love to find better ways together with all of us. You do so by being learning oriented and when faced with problems you tackle it with optimism and confidence.
Are you an internal candidate? You are a true IKEA value ambassador with a proven capability to take on more complex assignments with a maximum of 1 year leadership experience.
Or are you an external candidate? In that case you have at least one year experience of leading teams/others. You also have previous experience from working in retail or you are coming from a university.
You are driven to exceed goals together with others and are eager to look for new opportunities to satisfy the customer’s needs.
You understand that you need an omnichannel mindset with analytical skills to be able to satisfy those customer’s needs.
Inspire and clarify, collaborate, co-create, and develop others makes your every day wonderful. Your entrepreneurial mindset enables you to take on responsibility and make decisions without the fear of failure. You always side with the many customers, keeping them at heart.
'- You will start as teammanager and you will have a career plan covering three positions in the Netherlands within a three-year period, with global opportunities in the future
You will have a mentor who will guide and support you during the 3 years.
In the second and third year you would be assigned to global projects that focus on the real challenges we face in the business today

If you move forward in the process, an virtual assessment will take place in week 20.
The program will require full mobility national and international mobility during and after the program. Good English language skills are a pre-requisite from the start.
The possibility to apply is open until May 2nd, and we contact you in week 18 and week 19.
