Market Development Manager EMEA - Pharma Services
The EMEA Market Development Manager - Pharma Services is responsible for developing the short and long-term demand generation strategy for EMEA, in alignment with the worldwide Pharma Services Group go-to-market plans, business plans, growth strategy and sales targets.The EMEA demand generation plan includes buyer targeting, campaign messaging and multi-touch, multi-dimensional programs including both inbound and outbound tactics across all marketing channels, including events. Aligned to the regional nature of the job, the role holder can be remotely based anywhere in EMEA.
Work cross functionally to develop the European marketing plan, ensuring flawless delivery of relevant content and events at the right time to customers.
Create and oversee the implementation of a customer centric, multi-channel Marketing strategy across all customer touch points in each market.
Work with digital team to develop a digital marketing strategy that is targeted to local markets within the confines of GDPR.
Collaborate with and support the local PSG sales teams.
Develop content localization strategy for whitepapers, infographics, emails, nurture streams.
Align the localized EMEA PSG strategy with cross-divisional EMEA Thermo Fisher Scientific stakeholders and partners.
Develop EMEA event strategy and execute high-impact live events, including CPHI WW, Innovation Days and CEO dinners. Collaborate with EMEA marketing coordinator to execute small and mid-size events.
Provide market insights to refine market requirements for new and existing services, opportunities for growth and local marketing activity.
Collaborate with the marketing leadership team on communication of localisation strategy, digital strategy, digital and event execution, and performance reporting commentary.
Manages agreements and strategic partnerships with external marketing partners, including trade journals, media partners, advertising partners, event vendors, tradeshow partners. Manages budget to ensure effective use of funds and stay within budget.
How will you get here?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, or Communications. MBA a plus.
Proven experience in business-to-business marketing, preferably in a field marketing or demand generation role.
Proven experience supporting lead generation for multiple sales teams, with consistent performance of meeting or exceeding targets over multiple years.
Prefer experience in Life Sciences, including Pharma / Biotech, CRO, CDMO, Med Device.
Demonstrated experience in regional marketing strategy or corporate strategy for EMEA.
Fluency in English language is required. Other European languages beneficial.
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
