The Development & Engineering System Integration department (D&E SI) is responsible for defining and driving the system integration of new products/options for full functional machine and performance qualification within time to market target. The D&E SI DE DUV Sequences & Manufacturing Integration group within this department manages D&E work preparations for the production and installation of DUV lithography machines and also deliver production sequences required for build. The Manufacturing Integration Engineer (6P integrator) has the challenging task of integrating the work defined in the 6P deliverable matrix for successful machine build in the factory. The 6P’s stand for : P1 Specification,P2 Tools, P3 Procedures, P4 Plant, P5 Skills & Knowledge and P6 Parts. Different functional clusters with a specific design function or contributing module to the machine are responsible for delivering the corresponding work preparation with respect to the 6P’s.
The Manufacturing Integration engineer will enable the manufacturing process by driving the total work preparation for the factory defined in the 6P matrix. He/she will drive the completeness, identify & highlight foreseen risks and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders
The Manufacturing Integration engineer interfaces mainly with Manufacturing engineers, Project leads and Factory representatives but also can have interactions with Sequence engineers, Upgrade/Service Integrators and Customer Support.
The Manufacturing Integration engineer is responsible for setting up the 6P requirements for different projects, aligning with the functional clusters on the planning, maintaining the 6p=P dashboard and reporting the status and progress torelevant stakeholders. Additionally, it is important to chase open actions, make aligned agreements on late deliveries and highlight any risks regarding the 6P work preparation with relevant stakeholders in the Factory. Continuous alignment with delivering parties and the internal customer i.e Factory is the highlight of the job.
Define and drive 6P deliverables of Development and engineering functional clusters and integration cluster.
Report on the industrialization completeness
Identify and initiate opportunities for process improvements and define tooling requirements.
Analyze/implement feedback from factory and validation results.
Delivering high level (powerpoint) reports for program management on status and impact.
Manage stakeholders by setting the necessary communication manners (meetings, guidelines, rules, reports etc.) to align deliveries, quality and minimize escalations
Align with our internal customer in order to fulfill factory’s requirements.
General proficiency with tools, systems, integration, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
Bachelor or Master level – preferable technical, industrial engineering (BS in Optical Engineering Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, Applied Physics, or Mechanical Engineering.)
As an advantage, not a must:
Experience in or affinity with the machine industry
Experience in or affinity with either system testing and integration or configuration management is preferred.
Experiences in semiconductor equipment development is a strong plus.
Preferably multiple years working experience is an advantage, not a must.
Experience in a production environment with high tech products and complex production processes is an advantage, not a must.
Experience in the field of Technical Work Preparation is an advantage, not a must.
