    About the Role

    At Uber, we pride ourselves on the outstanding team we've built. Delivering a first class, on-demand transportation experience takes a critical eye for quality, and we want a University Talent Acquisition Manager who has the same critical eye. We are growing rapidly and need someone with grit to help manage a team of business facing recruiters that build strategy, plan and execute on a robust and scalable university hiring program. This role will report to the Director of Global University Talent Acquisition.

    The right person will thrive in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving people's problems and is confident in building trust and helping to develop their team. They will need to excel while working in ambiguities. This role is all about bringing on the smartest early career talent, developing and maintaining our culture as we grow, and running an efficient process to keep it moving.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead a team of recruiters to ensure tactical execution and strategic success in university recruiting initiatives for EMEA and LatAm
    • Develop and execute the university recruiting strategy to help achieve annual hiring goals for both intern and new college roles
    • Support Uber with campus hiring initiatives, building great teams and business partnerships wherever needed
    • Effectively manage and analyze the University Team's pipeline health to ensure delivery of key performance recruiting metrics to identify trends to improve our practices
    • Build and drive new campus hiring programs/initiatives for our Technical, Operations, Sales and Corporate teams
    • Drive the team to effectively manage large scale pipelines while making each applicant feel like they're the only one you're talking to
    • Be hyper-knowledgeable about our business and bring the outside in for findings and sharing standard methodologies
    • Build partnerships to help drive annual compensation/global mobility reviews
    • Improve our existing processes by using design thinking and inclusivity to develop innovative strategy around finding our future crew
    • Provide strategic leadership to drive alignment and consistency in all our regions by serving on the global university team
    • Manage relationships across multiple Uber teams - expect to be responsible for the university hiring needs of many
    • Showcase your passion for university hiring. That means intimate knowledge of curriculum, competitor standard methodologies, and relationships with world-class schools around the world

    Basic Qualifications

    • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 3+ years of recruitment team management with passion to build scalable and customer centric processes/ programs (New College Grad & Intern experience a plus)
    • 5+ years of university recruiting experience in a multifaceted, high demand environment, demonstrating a clear understanding of nuances of both on-cycle / off-cycle UR hiring practices at a similar size and scale of Uber
    • Ability to influence at various levels in an organization; story teller, who understands which information to present to help the target audience make decisions driven by data
    • Technically savvy, ability to navigate ATS Platforms
    • Experience with iCIMS and other university specific software experience preferred
    • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
