    This position is responsible to establish, monitor and run the Project Management (PM) processes for the EMEA Commercial org. Project Mgmt processes are critical for ensuring the build and deployment of business capabilities is delivered in collaboration with business partners. In addition, the processes will also ensure proper utilization and efficiency of internal and external resources needed to deliver these capabilities. This candidate will work closely with the EMEA IT Leadership team as well as the EMEA Portfolio Managers, and play a pivotal role in the monitoring the portfolio's health.

    Primary responsibilities include:

    Program and Project Management Excellence

    • Enable key IT initiatives across the pharma landscape by utilizing expertise to ensure world class project planning and execution
    • Drive a comprehensive approach to the execution and health of the portfolio
    • Establish and run leadership forums to proactively monitor project execution excellence.
    • Create materials and perform training for the Business Technology organization on specified processes (e.g. Project Excellence tool, CAR development, etc)
    • Identify process gaps and drive resolution and efficiencies allowing smoother operation of Pharma projects and programs while driving continuous improvement efforts
    • Bring consistency and efficiency across the organization.
    • Provide conduit and mediate gaps between Pharma IT and Application Services /Global Technology Solutions
    • Drive consensus between multiple partners and get agreements on the process and related activities
    • Manage the risks and issues in project execution and pro-actively leads and resolves critical issues
    • Develop a partnership with the key partners and IT functions such as the Product line owners, Business technology leaders, IT architecture, Application Services and Global Technology Solutions
    • Develop and lead project metric and dashboard reporting
    • Perform pro-active analysis and identification of the gaps related to lifecycle management with the objective to bring technology to the current standard

    Resource Management:

    • Enable and execute a robust resource management process across Janssen BT scope allowing for insight to employee and contractor resource supply and demand.
    • Ensure data completeness and accuracy
    • Develop resource metrics and lead dashboard reporting
    • Provide leadership visibility to the utilization of labor resources and lead initiatives to drive improvement (e.g. capacity teams)

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree a plus.
    • Minimum 5 years progressive IT work experience is required.
    • Familiarity with process and tools to map and manage the IT landscape and knowledge about agile project management methods and tactics such as Scrum are a plus
    • Demonstrate ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data.
    • Ability to think strategically and work independently.
    • Ability to work in a global reporting environment and understand the global and regional strategic goals and priorities and how portfolio management supports them.
    • Lead and coordinate implementation approaches across a wide field of IT technology either in a project lead or advisory capacity
    • Strong financial acuity.
    • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate across levels and regions.
    • Ability to translate data into information for executive audiences.
    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to influence without authority are required.
    • Proficient in use of standard office automation tools (Office 365), such as MS Excel, Word, Power Point, SharePoint.
    • Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Qlikview, Tableau).
    • Experience with Business Intelligence/data warehouse processes and tools preferred
    • Strong knowledge of application and asset management processes preferred.
