Do you love a challenge and are you passionate about implementing large non-destructive testing (NDT) projects in the oil and gas industry? The Global Project Services (GPS) - New Construction (NC) Business Unit, part of Applus+ RTD, is looking for a Project Delivery Manager– GPS New Construction
Where you will be working
Business Unit GPS - NC, part of Applus+ RTD, serves customers worldwide, performing NDT and inspections as well as providing research solutions to determine the quality and integrity of installations. Our primary focus is on international new construction (pipelines), where we work with advanced systems that we develop in house.
As Project Delivery Manager, you steer and monitor the quality and progress of the project portfolio, as agreed with our clients. You will lead the project teams, including the project managers, the planning and the project administration team. You will be part of the BU management team and report directly to the BU Manager GPS – NC.
What you will be doing
Your main tasks will be:
Responsibility for the project results (budget, time, quality and safety)
Leading various teams
Advising on improvement processes related to existing and future activities and projects
Formulating and monitoring operational forecast planning
Efficient resource and equipment planning
Achieving a uniform and standardised working method for implementing projects
Ensuring correct administrative settlement and reporting
You should have at least six years’ experience in managing large, complex NDT and/or other projects and project portfolios.
Higher professional or university-level working and conceptual capacities in engineering and/or business management.
Good command of English and Dutch both written and spoken.
Ability to direct operations and guide suppliers and other external parties.
Proven experience in managing professionals and engineers.
Strong financial acumen
