    Job Description

    ServiceNow is looking for a Manager of Product Design with the passion to solve complex business problems through design thinking, and who consistently inspires teams to push the boundaries of experience design. As a designer, visionary and systems-level design thinker, you will provide leadership to a team of designers and direction for a line of products. You will collaborate with other UX, Product and Engineering teams to create holistic and compelling experiences for our customers.

    What you get to do in this role:

    • Directly manage and mentor 5-6 designers.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, user research, engineering and content from strategic definition, planning, architecture, through tactical execution of the product roadmaps.
    • Set the way how the Performance Analytics & Reporting platform capability spreads across all the ServiceNow products and fits into the larger company vision.
    • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to organize and structure cross functional product teams and drive the growth of user-centric & collaborative culture across the Business Unit.
    • Empower the designers to own the design outcome of their product area and drive the vision forward while practicing human centered design.
    • Set up and run design sprints to bring all functions in the same round table to come up with solutions that keep humans in the center of attention.
    • Keen eye to tell the difference between good and great design solutions, while guiding the designers how to do the same.
    • Understand the company's Design Systems, encourage their application, and contribute to their further development and maintenance.
    • Evangelize design strategy and product vision across the global distributed design teams.
    • Work with colleagues across 2 time zones and all over the world.
    • Covid times are difficult, but people remain people. Able to attend to your team’s needs and make them feel supported.

    Qualifications

    To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

    • Minimum 3 years of experience leading design teams.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in UX Design.
    • A portfolio demonstrating leadership, process and systematic thinking putting people first.
    • Human centered design mindset.
    • Get things done attitude.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Kind, friendly with a slightly perfectionistic way of working. Bonus Points
    • Enterprise product design experience
    • Knowledge in data visualization design
    • Business Intelligence product knowledge
