    Manager Data Science - Digital Media

    Booking.com is the world’s leading travel platform with a top-tier performance marketing team responsible for a substantial part of its revenue.

    As a Data Science Manager of the digital media channels you will lead a team of talented data scientists and analysts working on measurement and optimization of all Booking.com retargeting and prospecting channels (e.g. Facebook, Youtube, display ads, audio, etc). You will be responsible for driving the performance of those channels, liaising with FP&A, marketing operations and product development teams, as well as applying relevant statistical methodology to estimate and optimize incremental value of marketing campaigns.

    • Establish team strategy and set executable roadmaps
    • Drive daily performance of all retargeting and prospecting marketing channels
    • Liaise with product development, ad ops and FP&A teams

    B.skilled

    • 6+ years experience of working in Data Science roles; advanced degree preferred (Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Marketing Science, or similar)
    • Strong working knowledge of statistics (causal inference methods such as potential outcomes framework or SEM, Bayesian inference, resampling techniques, design of experiments)
    • Working knowledge of SQL and scripting languages (e.g. Python or R); experience with Hadoop ecosystem and GCP is a plus.
    • Experience applying statistical analysis in marketing setting is a big plus
    • Leader with a strong focus on people development
    • At least 1 year leading a team in a growing, fast-paced environment.
    • Track record of delivering innovative solutions in ambiguous situations.
