    Manager Accounting

    The Manager Accounting supporting all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures for a number of legal entities. Report to the Manager Accounting in regards to all financial and accounting activities.


    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


    • Prepare/review journal entries and month-end account reconciliations
    • Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
    • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
    • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations (including SOX)
    • Support, run, and review various transfer pricing models and calculations
    • Support in the monitoring of the company’s transfer pricing policies, valuation policies and creation of intercompany contracts
    • Lead and monitor inventory-related month-end close processes
    • Support in operational treasury activities
    • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
    • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders (FSSC, Local Accounting, Sales, Logistics, Legal/TAX, Treasury, others)
    • Pro-actively partnering with business and advise them in financial query’s
    • Report to the Manager Accounting with timely and accurate financial information
    • Additional controller duties as necessary
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field.
    • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
    • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
    • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, accurate, service minded
    • Good team player as well as independently functioning
    • Flexible and able to work with tight deadlines
