    Logistics Manager: Partner Services

Are you a strategic expert who can develop policies and procedures? Enjoy negotiating and finding cost-effective solutions on a global scale? Then this role has the perfect ingredients!

    Our story (the bitesize version)

Having started out as a small Danish business, we've grown to become a huge global player as Just Eat Takeaway.com. Operating in 24 countries across 5 continents, we serve millions of food lovers from Brighton to Brisbane every day.

While our restaurants focus on the food, our innovative Partner Services teams are busy negotiating, purchasing and arranging processes to support them. That's where you come in.

    All about the role

As our Logistics Manager: Partner Services, you play a vital role in developing strategy, policies and procedures to support operational performance. Working with the Head of Buying & Logistics, you're also able to implement best practices across your business area.

You also make sure that high-quality products are delivered quickly and cost-effectively. That includes overseeing the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the end customer. You're able to effectively analyse the value offered by current suppliers and ensure our purchasing remains competitive.

As a smart negotiator, you'll develop purchasing strategies in line with demand and market conditions, as well as regularly re-negotiating terms of service agreements and evaluating the performance of logistics suppliers.

In this wide-ranging position, we're also counting on you to:

    • Develop purchasing strategies in line with demand & market conditions to ensure reliable and competitive transport services

    • Ensure that all processes and procedures are organised in a standardized, automated and transparent way

    • Define, implement and monitor KPIs

    • Develop logistic concepts and process improvements, including sourcing (and visiting) new suppliers worldwide

    • Take responsibility for the department budget

    • Lead market analysis and best value benchmarking of relevant markets & deliver your insights to stakeholders in areas like Procurement

    • Ensure our suppliers offer high service quality and punctual delivery

    • Offer expert people management: from reviews and appraisals to training, recruitment of new staff and helping your team to meet targets

    Can you deliver…

Ready to take on this opportunity? Here are the skills and experience we need from you:

    • 4+ years' experience in the fields of logistics, procurement and/or logistics management

    • Bachelor's Degree or higher – e.g. Business, Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management

    • Experience with spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Microsoft or Google)

    • Knowledge of e-procurement tools is a must. Familiarity with ERP finance systems, including planning/logistics is a plus

    • Able to provide actionable insights and resolve issues, both independently and alongside team members

    • Skilled at driving results – making crucial decisions and knowing when to take calculated risks

    • A proactive & analytical approach, with conceptual thinking and working methods

    • A business-focused, entrepreneurial mindset, including a strong understanding of the industry

    • Experience in managing a growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    • Fluent English (written & spoken) with excellent communication and presentation skills

    • Available to travel as part of your job & a valid driver's license

    Here is our offer

Like the perfect food pairing, your expertise and these great rewards belong together:

    • Competitive salary

    • A diverse and impactful leadership role at the heart of our marketing operations

    • Fantastic team & company events

    • 26 days of holiday per year

    • A vibrant & creative work environment at our office in London or Enschede

    • Competitive pension plan

    • Additional perks – these vary between the U.K. and the Netherlands
