While our restaurants focus on the food, our innovative Partner Services teams are busy negotiating, purchasing and arranging processes to support them. That's where you come in.
As our Logistics Manager: Partner Services, you play a vital role in developing strategy, policies and procedures to support operational performance. Working with the Head of Buying & Logistics, you're also able to implement best practices across your business area.
You also make sure that high-quality products are delivered quickly and cost-effectively. That includes overseeing the distribution and transportation of goods from the manufacturer to the end customer. You're able to effectively analyse the value offered by current suppliers and ensure our purchasing remains competitive.
As a smart negotiator, you'll develop purchasing strategies in line with demand and market conditions, as well as regularly re-negotiating terms of service agreements and evaluating the performance of logistics suppliers.
In this wide-ranging position, we're also counting on you to:
Develop purchasing strategies in line with demand & market conditions to ensure reliable and competitive transport services
Ensure that all processes and procedures are organised in a standardized, automated and transparent way
Define, implement and monitor KPIs
Develop logistic concepts and process improvements, including sourcing (and visiting) new suppliers worldwide
Take responsibility for the department budget
Lead market analysis and best value benchmarking of relevant markets & deliver your insights to stakeholders in areas like Procurement
Ensure our suppliers offer high service quality and punctual delivery
Offer expert people management: from reviews and appraisals to training, recruitment of new staff and helping your team to meet targets
Ready to take on this opportunity? Here are the skills and experience we need from you:
4+ years' experience in the fields of logistics, procurement and/or logistics management
Bachelor's Degree or higher – e.g. Business, Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management
Experience with spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Microsoft or Google)
Knowledge of e-procurement tools is a must. Familiarity with ERP finance systems, including planning/logistics is a plus
Able to provide actionable insights and resolve issues, both independently and alongside team members
Skilled at driving results – making crucial decisions and knowing when to take calculated risks
A proactive & analytical approach, with conceptual thinking and working methods
A business-focused, entrepreneurial mindset, including a strong understanding of the industry
Experience in managing a growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Fluent English (written & spoken) with excellent communication and presentation skills
Available to travel as part of your job & a valid driver's license
