Tasks and reponsibilites
As a Linux System Administrator you will play a key role in supporting the R&D and operations of one our clients in Eindhoven. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance and the deployment of the IT Infrastructure.
What your tasks are:
- Working in a team of Windows and Linux administrators
- Applying your technical knowledge and insights to create a road-map and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs
- Maintain & Develop excellent relationships with IT decision makers & key stakeholders
- Providing technical expertise to internal employees
Skills and requirements
We are looking for a Linux System administrator with a passion for IT and who is not afraid to analyse complex problems.
You should also have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or other equivalent technical discipline
- 5+ years technical experience within the high-tech domain
- Experience with Linux based infrastructures
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Experience with automated infrastructure configuration and provisioning (Puppet, Terraform)
- Experience with Virtualization (VMWare)
- Experience with Cloud Environments (AWS)
- Experience with data centers, networking setup and maintenance
- Experience with storage systems and protocols
- Experience with working in a Agile/Scrum team
- Both oral and written English. Dutch is an advantage.
