To provide clients with a high quality Informatics product, using total project lifecycle management. This includes direct client liaison, providing requirements analysis, solution configuration and documentation of client systems to effectively implementing the systems, undertaking customizations, training users and providing ongoing support and maintenance.
What will you do?
Actively participate in the delivery and implementation of Informatics products and services by understanding customer requirements and demands and thoroughly investigating technical issues to ensure successful resolution
Communicate effectively between customers, consultants, partners and the Services Management in a timely manner
On time delivery against project and technical support plans ensuring customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot problems with Informatics software and solutions, reproduce difficult issues and develop workarounds and solutions where appropriate, sharing findings with internal colleagues
Work with other consultants to develop skills to lead project deliverables
Attain technical knowledge to deliver standard and customized training courses to customers and staff
Requirements analysis and documentation
System design and documentation
Testing and validation of configured systems
Product/client support, both remotely by phone and email as well as on-site as and when required
System training for users
Maintain product and industry knowledge
How will you get here?
Minimum bachelor’s degree in laboratory science/management or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in information technology with additional laboratory experience is also relevant
Experience in customer facing role in industry or laboratory informatics
Experienced in Laboratory Informatics in LIMS (ELN, SDMS, Instrument Integration are nice to have)
Willing to travel 50% of the time to customer sites from a home office basis
Nice to have:
Experience with SampleManager and/or Nautilus LIMS preferred
Working experience with programming Microsoft .NET and C#
Project management experience
