    Legal Operations Manager

    Basic-Fit’s legal team is expanding, and looking for a Legal Operations Manager! Are you ready to join a can-do team with big, bold plans for the future?     This is what your assignment looks like

    At our legal department, we support Basic-Fit’s international headquarter in Hoofddorp and the operations of all our markets in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Spain. We are a fast-growing company with a fast-growing team, and now we wish to further optimize and professionalize the key processes of our department to maintain and improve quality of our services.

    You will focus on the collaboration and coordination with our internal clients and external partners, increasing efficiency with an eye on the expected growth path of the company and the responsibility that comes along with that growth for the legal team. As Legal Operations Manager, your main responsibility is to further structure and contribute to the efficiency and quality of the team functioning.

    You’ll do so by optimizing:

    • Contract lifecycle management (intake, draft, review, sign, file, execute, renew);
    • Work flow management (intake, service, quality, division of work);
    • Performance management (kpi’s, assessment, quality and satisfaction);
    • Vendor management (use of external knowledge, external partners, costs, service and quality);
    • Knowledge management (database, build, maintain, find, share, train);
    • Budget management;
    • Technology, data and analytics support;
    • And any process that can improve the efficiency and quality of the legal team and the achievement of company goals, through optimizing processes and using the proper (automated) tools.

    Our legal department currently consists of 13 legal professionals under the supervision of the general counsel. We have an entrepreneurial, dynamic and informal business culture with highly motivated colleagues.

    We ask:

    A tech-savvy new colleague with solid understanding and background of legal processes, and sound knowledge and ideas on legal operations.

    Furthermore, we’re asking:

    • A HBO or WO degree, preferably in law, business economics or IT;
    • Relevant working experience in the field of legal operations, inhouse or as consultant;
    • Experience with IT tools and processes within legal environments;
    • Strong project management and business analysis skills;
    • Strong written and oral communications skills, and the ability to communicate abstract concepts and requirements to all levels of the company;
    • You’re a down to earth, open person with an action-orientated mindset;
    • You’re available to work full-time, at least 32 hours per week;
    • Native or fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French and / or Spanish is an advantage.
