We are currently looking for a Legal Manager to join our Amsterdam office.
Legal research on different questions, including but not limited to corporate matters, operational activities, activities of non-profit organizations, comparison of legislative provisions, rules and licensing requirements of various countries, and preparing concise summaries of the analysis.
General legal support for the JetBrains group of companies, regardless of their place of incorporation.
Project management, including planning, coordinating the efforts of various distributed teams (legal, tax, finance, procurement, HR, etc.), tracking progress, and delivering final results to the stakeholders within agreed timelines.
Assistance in ensuring overall compliance with applicable legislation and various deadlines, including GDPR compliance and contributing to drafting related documents.
Evaluation of different risk factors related to business decisions and operations, presenting them to management for final decisions.
Communication and negotiation with external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authorities, banks, etc.).
Performance of other legal requests.
Fluent English (written and spoken), Russian, and/or Dutch is an asset.
The skills, familiarity, and efficiencies that come with 5+ years of post-graduate legal experience, ideally in a multinational corporation or reputable international law firm.
Experience in project management and working with legislative systems in different countries.
The ability to review, draft, negotiate, and solidify agreements and other legal documents to optimize the company’s legal position.
Quick reflexes when dealing with foreign laws and novel concepts.
The ability to provide clear and concise legal advice that is understandable to a wide audience.
The ability to adapt to a large and complex structure with varying priorities and tight deadlines.
The ability to captain parallel projects and lead various initiatives.
