You must:
have (or expect to complete soon) a PhD in statistics, research methods, econometrics, supply chain management, operations management, or a closely related field

be able to teach in Dutch and in English

have a strong background in quantitative empirical data analysis methods, such as econometrics and statistics

have completed University Teaching Qualification (BKO) or equivalent.

The department of TOM has a strong tradition in using, critically reviewing and improving analytical and empirical research methods, and mathematical modelling and simulation. We expect the candidate to start on 1 September 2021.

The position is currently defined at the level of Lecturer, on a temporary basis (maximum four years). Subsequent promotion to Senior Lecturer with a permanent contract is possible in case of a track record of excellent teaching.
The conditions of employment comply with the collective labour agreement for Dutch universities (CAO NU). Favourable tax agreements may apply to applicants who are not from the Netherlands.
