As Project Lead Naval Architect you will work on several project at the same time. This position Is based in the area of Amsterdam.
Specific duties in this role include:
Coordinating a team of engineers responsible for Naval Architecture discipline;
Performing Naval Architecture designs and calculations;
First point of contact for clients (representatives) Classification societies, colleagues from other disciplines and other stakeholders;
Reporting to the Director Engineering.
We are looking for a Naval Architect with at least 10 years of relevant experience. The candidate must have good leadership capabilities with a proactive, and flexible approach, goal oriented. Additionally, the following requirements should be met:
BSc or MSc degree in Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering or similar;
10 years’ experience preferable in a design office;
Having experience with relevant software used for naval architecture;
Excellent command of English language (speaking& writing- professional level);
Only candidates with EU citizenship are considered for this position.
