The Corporate Communications team helps to promote and protect FMOs brand and reputation. Through a compelling story telling we aim to build trust and brand resilience, and inspire like-minded others to partner with FMO and help us empower entrepreneurs to build a better world.
A strong brand is based on consistency and a recognizable profile. We translate FMO's strategy into a communication strategy that resonates with our diverse stakeholder group. We bring our expertise to life in different communications approaches, share our successes and dilemmas, and bring the outside world, in.
The team of eight professionals spans a wide range services and expertise: branding & storytelling, (social) media relations, events and internal communication. The team is looking for a junior communications professional with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
The person we are looking for
knows his or her way with words: you are an excellent, crisp and swift writer who strikes the right tone for each occasion.
You are a team player who likes to think and do, and who feels accountable for obtaining high quality results from start to finish.
You are tech (online) and social media savvy. You have experience with most of the regular social media outlets and particularly know how to reach the right audience through Twitter and LinkedIn. You like to come up with creative new ways to stand out among the many other messages out there.
You have experience with creating content for websites and social media and you know how to work with various content management systems. When it comes to communications channels, you are curious about the latest developments and are not afraid to try new things.
Finally, you are constructive, culturally sensitive, like to get things done and strive for excellence. You respect differences, listen well, and give feedback.
Your main tasks
Writing concise, clear and engaging content for newsletters, press releases, website and intranet, and marketing material that communicates FMOs activities, products and services.
Maintaining and updating FMOs internal and external websites and analyzing user data to help optimize our channel approach.
Crafting social media posts, snippets and blogs and managing FMOs social media channels.
Editing and proofing of texts.
Ensuring our marketing content aligns with FMOs corporate identity and messages and assist with storytelling campaigns as needed.
Proactively seeking opportunities to enhance and build the reputation of FMO
A higher-education degree or equivalent qualification in communications, journalism or related field;
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Native level English is a must-have.
Experience with social media functionalities and overall digitally-savviness
Highly organized, with planning skills and attention to detail;
You preferably have lived, studied or worked in an international environment.
