    Junior Technical Analyst

    The Software Lifecycle Management Publisher Advisory team provides our customers with insights into their software spend and software compliance, supporting them to reduce costs, be prepared for software audits and getting the most out of their software licenses. The team is based in various European countries and supports customers and colleagues in local organizations across the globe. The team acts as the center of expertise for Oracle, SAP and IBM software licensing and is heavily focussed on contract and data analytics. We work in self-organized teams with high levels of autonomy whilst at the same ensuring we stay aligned and work towards the same goals.     As Junior Technical Analyst you will learn about licensing software products and the included technical components. We’ll train you to create analytical code and eventually work as an analyst yourself. You’ll learn on the job, supported by experienced colleagues, you’ll participate in online training and improvement projects and gather knowledge through self study.

    You will analyse raw data received from our customers to create a detailed overview of their software usage. You will be comparing this usage with the available licenses to create a software license reconciliation report. Last but not least, you wil document and automate analysis processes.

    You are curious and eager to learn more about hardware, network and product configurations, as well about the licensing rules of software publishers. You're a team player. You like involving others in your ideas and also like to support the ideas of others. You like to understand what's going on in your team and what others are working on.
    What we need to see from you:
    • You have a degree in Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics or another relevant study
    • You have basic knowledge of scripting (e.g. shell, batch, Python, Perl). Don’t worry if you only know about these through your studies, the most important thing is that you are motivated to develop your knowledge further.
    • You know your way around MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • You have basic knowledge of hardware and software architectures
    • Basic knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux/Unix)
    • You have an analytical mind and eye for detail.
    • You are eager to expand your knowledge and share what you know with colleagues
    • You enjoy working in a team, but are able to work independently as well
    • Fluent in English as we are working in an international, English-speaking environment
