    Booking.com is looking for an Atlassian Administrator. As a member of a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Atlassian applications, including Jira, Jira Align, Confluence and Trello, are meeting business objectives and supporting key product development workflows. You will administer the tools that drive constant innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that’s experiencing tremendous growth and where critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills are required. As well as working independently, you will also be responsible for building relationships with key stakeholders and suggesting product enhancements and integrations that solve real business needs.

    • Support and influence Jira, Jira Align, Confluence and Trello users and stakeholders at all levels. Be an excellent communicator, open-minded, approachable, flexible, and diplomatic.
    • Manage the administration and configuration of Jira, Confluence and Trello.
    • Identify business problems, work cross-functionally and contribute to solutions that improve user experience and business processes.
    • Represent Booking.com values, both within the company and in the external community.
    • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and you act proactively and not just reactively. Anticipate business requirements and position our Atlassian products accordingly.
    • Support users that are onboarding to Jira, Jira Align and Confluence by following best practices, creating appropriate configurations and making certain that new users are set up for success.
    • Use templates and workflows to automate business processes in a scalable way.
    • Advocate for a collaborative working environment – turn “my ideas” into “our ideas”.
    • Maintain technical and non-technical application documentation for end users and IT Support team members.
    • Champion the user and make data-driven decisions that benefit your users and make their life easier.
    • Provide Jira and Confluence training for IT Support team members. Support escalated requests from the IT Support team.
    • Manage application access controls by reviewing use cases and overseeing access requests.

    B.skilled.

    • 1-3 years of hands-on experience administering Jira and Confluence in an enterprise environment.
    • Team player and fluent in the English language, both spoken and written.
    • A solid understanding of Jira and Confluence best practices, Jira Query Language (JQL), Jira and Confluence APIs.
    • An understanding of access control principles.
    • Solution-driven attitude.
    • Experience using workflows and templates to automate business processes.
    • Understanding common use cases for Jira and Confluence.

    Nice to have skills:

    • Scripting using Groovy, Python or other similar languages.
    • Experience with Jira Align.
    • Proven ability to kick-start and drive technical, business, and people-related initiatives that improved productivity, performance, and quality.
    • Experience with the Data Center versions of Jira and Confluence.
    • Jira and Confluence hosting with AWS.
    • Working knowledge of databases and SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
    • Coaching and training technical and non-technical users.
