Life at Tiqets
What you will do
As a Quality Assurance tester in Tiqets you would work closely with the Product team, Developers, Incident management control group and Customer Support to maintain and improve our product quality. You will set the standard in what it means for Tiqets to deliver a quality service. You find bugs and verify specifications by manually testing new features, carrying out regression testing, using automation where possible.You have a great eye for detail and want to have a deep understanding of the product and Tiqets’ customers.
Work with product and development teams to execute the test strategy and develop new test cases when required and test the feature requests from teams.
Improve tools and processes to find issues before our users do
Hands on and automated testing of new features and changes to the platform, both from a functional and a user perspective
Providing structure through clear test scripts or test plans, (minimal) process and documentation
Collect and analyze internal/external customer feedback to assess trending quality issues and participate in the implementation of corrective action plans
Investigating and prioritizing bug reports
Regression testing support.
Supporting platform end-users by liaising with customer support or directly with users
Share knowledge and usability expertise with product teams and developers
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or a few years of experience in a similar QA role.
An understanding of website and app core technical architecture, and a broad IT knowledge
An interest in and/or knowledge of UX/UI
You are methodical, analytical, independent and precise. You can communicate effectively and enjoy working with colleagues from both inside and outside of the technology team
You’re a fast and keen learner, eager to get involved
Living in the Netherlands/EU
Experience working within an organisation using agile development practices
Experience writing, executing and automating functional test plans
Experience with both mobile app and web testing
