The domain Enterprise Applications is primarily responsible for translating the business requirements into enterprise IT applications and implementing, maintaining and supporting the applications. Furthermore, Enterprise Applications has the responsibility to ensure alignment between the IT strategy and business strategy, and to ensure the alignment between information application architecture and business requirements.
The subdomain Enterprise Architecture Office is responsible for the architectures that are created within the Enterprise Applications domain and is also responsible for the Enterprise Architecture Governance, which includes the creation and deployment of architectural practices and the creation of reference architectures for the various IT domains.
For NXP IT creating practical value to the business is the primary objective. The Enterprise Architecture Office is supporting the IT organizations through improvement of the architectural practices within IT, in a broad sense. The work of the Enterprise Architecture Office includes improvements in architecture and design descriptions, modelling the architectural landscape, creation of reference architectures, creation of roadmaps, studies on promising technologies and supporting new initiatives. This work is embedded in the organization and has led to a better execution of projects and a better maintainable and more Agile IT landscape.
This position is for a new college graduate which is a person that has graduated from a University no longer than 2 years ago. We are looking for someone that is able and eager to move to a position with more responsibility in a relative short time. Intensive coaching and guidance will be provided. We aim to provide a long term career path in NXP, which starts in IT and architecture but may lead to divers future roles.
Your responsibilities :
Contribute to studies on new tools and techniques
Interact with different (business) stakeholders to describe requirements
Create proof of concepts: Examples are Robotic Process Automation, chatbots, Enterprise Data Intelligence, tools for road mapping and portfolio management
In time: Lead study projects
Support solution and enterprise architects (and learn from them to take up that role over time)
Support in the creation of architecture models and use of enterprise architecture tooling. Describe requirements for dashboards and view and create and validate these with the various stakeholders
Support architecture board meetings as secretary. Making minutes and follow people up on action points
Maintain the Enterprise Architecture Portal in SharePoint (or other tools)
Describe and evaluate architectural decisions
Co-organize workshops together with colleagues
Creation and deployment of architectural ways of working such as SAFe, architecture and project governance
Maintain reference architectures at domain and enterprise level in various tools
Master or PhD degree (IT related)
Enterprise Architecture is part of the University Curriculum with good results
