    Europe is identified as one of the largest iTO driver for Unilever International globally. The Marketing Manager position will play a very critical role in Europe team. We are looking for a future thinking experienced marketer, who has a passion for market development and driving success by redefining ways of working. We’re looking for someone who thrives in balancing brand, consumer, market and channels —and who is an expert at turning strategy into reality. This role is charged with identifying and exploiting new growth opportunities — based on consumer needs, behaviours and beauty trends. This role must drive cross functional collaboration in order to push concepts from ideation to reality in the the market.

    This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is naturally curious and seeks out opportunities for big thinking, disrupting the status-quo and tackling the ever-changing landscape that consumer package goods operate in.

    • As Brand Manager Benelux & Italy you will be responsible for driving the brands by pioneering new ways of marketing and engaging consumers through superior advertising, using data-driven marketing and excellent consumer insight to be locally relevant, culturally resonant and faster than competition.

    • Define and own brand strategy for key cells, ensuring relevance to consumers’ needs, as well as the business and local market context.

    • Brand Marketing Planning - Brand Positioning & Brand Strategic Plan with 12Qtr horizon, Communication Strategy & Brand Communication Idea & Asset Development

    • Innovation Funnel & Project Leadership of projects with responsibility for full 6Ps and cross-functional team

    • Annual Brand Planning from Concept to Deployment and 12 Month Activity Planning

    • Responsible for business forecast and delivery

    • Be a thought leader in digital marketing


    We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual with local market knowledge alongside proven leadership abilities for creating great brand experiences

    • A self-starter, with a strong bias for action, unafraid to get “your hands dirty”.

    • A holistic marketing skill set, with as much passion for strategy & creative development as execution and financials with a focus on growth mindset & bias for action.

    • A strong commercial business mind-set – ability to deliver on a P&L and make long term strategic decisions

    • A strong team leader/influencer - Building strong relationships within the global and local marketing teams & across functions as well as with Customer Development

    • Candidates should also exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, strong creativity with proven track record of turning insights into action.

    • Strong entrepreneurial skills and project management experience. The individual is expected to exercise judgment in coordinating and implementing various projects to completion under tight deadlines and to be able to lead a portfolio of projects.

    • Marketing experience with a deep passion for building brands, preferably in F&R and/or Beauty & Personal care

    • Consumer & market understanding

    • Commercial acumen to work on P&L

    • A desire to build an innate understanding of the digital landscape and how brands can create Thumb Stopping content

    • Project management experience across multiple projects

    • Ability to hold self and others to account
