We are looking to strengthen the Asset and Liability Management Life Cycle team with an enthusiastic person, who is highly motivated to learn more about balance sheet risk management.
ING is building one standard implementation for Interest Rate Risk and Forecasting in the banking books. Regulations and internal risk management insights require us to constantly enhance our ALM capabilities.
Within our team we aim to develop new functionality and methodologies for risk management and finance departments in one target platform (QRM). Our team aims to find the right balance between conceptual risk management and practical implementation.
You will help with building target ALM solutions and implementation of new products and functionalities to the ING Balance sheet:
analyse risk measurement figures and methods
explain results and figures to various locations and users of the system
develop new functionality in our target platform, such as behavioural models
the end criterion is that output figures for reporting are covered in full and signed off by the users
execute configuration fit/gap analyse on new functionality (IRRBB related)
The project team (± 80 people) is divided into smaller squads of around nine Business Analysts and TECH experts. You will work in a highly professional environment with lots of growth and development opportunities. The teams consist of experts of all around the world, which gives you the unique chance to explore the work field from different viewpoints.
Our objective is to roll-out the “ING standard” configuration for to all locations ING operates in, such that it enables us to report and calculate the core Risk figures (NII- and NPV-@risk). When joining the team you will work on the implementation of new ALM functionalities as well as assisting the team with country support. This means you are working closely together with stakeholders like Modeling, ALM Data teams, (foreign) Market Risk management, Finance and Global Treasury.
