The fast-changing market requirements for our Business Unit Warehouse Solutions (BU WS) mean we need to adapt to stay ahead. In your role as Sales Program Manager your challenge is to enable a highly efficient and effective sales process and to maximize Vanderlande’s commercial success.
As a Junior Sales Program Manager you will be responsible for driving the sales proves within the Customer Center Warehousing International and its branches. You will be helping the sales teams to optimize their sales efforts and utilizing resources in the best possible way.
You will be directly working together with the Sales Director and together define the sales strategies in the different markets. In your role you will be translating strategic direction into concrete actions plans which you help to implement.
To ensure the most efficient sales efforts you align with the Commercial Excellence Management to support adopting new ways of working. Y ou will be responsible to have clear insights on the sales targets, the status and the pipeline to achieve the targets. For this, you will develop, create and update the right reporting frameworks for different stakeholders within the sales organization.
As everyday better is part of Vanderlande’s core values, you will fill the role of CRM key user and support the sales teams within the customer center to become every day better at managing the sales process while generating meaningful insights in the effectiveness of our sales activities.
Together with the sales teams from the different branches, you will manage the annual creation of the business plans defining our strategy to win. During period reviews, you will prepare review templates to monitor the progress against the business plans and report on progress and areas of improvement.
You take ownership in ensuring a high level of data quality of our CRM system and you will coordinate with the Commercial Excellence Management team to measure commercial performance and report insights to the involved stakeholders. You will take the project lead in selected strategic initiatives aiming to continuously improve the sales performance. You identify improvement potential in the way of working for our customers and take ownership to execute resulting actions.
The Sales Program Manager will report to the Sales Director in the CC Warehouse Solutions International.
In this position, you will:
Continuously analyze commercial performance across within the Customer Center and suggest opportunities to improve
Increase customer focus, reduce barriers to execute for sales teams and take responsibility for enabling commercial teams in optimizing value propositions, sales planning & strategies and other relevant sales skills
Execute a nnual business planning cycles and perform regular reviews and analys e s on commercial success metrics
Play a key role in organizing sales events in coordination with marketing in the business unit
Maintain high quality of sales operations by helping the sales managers as CRM system key user
Create insightful reports on sales performance and share them with involved stakeholders
Continuously monitor and guide the sales funnel management & lead generation in association with marketing and business development
T ranslate strategic concepts within sales management to concrete proposals and action plans
Embed the account-based selling approach across cu stomer c enters and s upport building relationships to influencers (e.g. c onsultants) on a strategic level
The Junior Sales Program Manager is part of the Sales Management Team of the Customer Center Warehouse Solutions International . This team represents sales managers in many regions of the world from parts of Europe, Asia and Latin America. The sales management team is responsible to develop the best value proposition for our customers and lead internal sales quotation teams to preparing the best solution and offer to our customers.
Master’s degree in a technical and/or business field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a commercial or technical role of high-end investment goods or solutions
Experience in working with multinational teams within a matrix organization
Ability to t ranslate business needs into business opportunities which can be executed in small steps, and prioritize them according to business value and impact
Data driven, proven analytical, customer focused, proactive, creative and innovative
Highly organi z ed, pragmatic and results-focused; driven to manage commercial improvement projects from concept to implementation and ensuring adaptation
Influencing skills : Building relationships and stakeholder management across different departments and influence stakeholders in non-hierarchical leadership style
Able to challenge the way things have been done and handled, and to drive change and create focus
Strong commercial focus and prioritization skills
Willingness to travel internationally (10-30%)
Strong presentation and communication skills
Excellent command of English and preferably another language
