    Jr. Pricing & Data Analyst (Amsterdam)

    The Junior Pricing Analyst works in a specialists team in Amsterdam responsible for optimizing the performance of Travix’s online brands for a part of the European region. Your main responsibility is defining and developing sales policies, taking into consideration changing market circumstances, legal environments, partner demands and channel-specific requirements. You will also be responsible for market analytics, forecasting and other ad hoc analysis as required. You monitor trends in sales and demand, you design and implement strategies to respond to these changes and you signal issues and opportunities to the team and other departments. As you become a specialist in a specific market you will be reporting and advising management and other departments on strategy and revenue optimization for that market

    The Challenge

    • Collecting and combining datasets from different sources
    • Conducting quantitative and qualitative market research
    • Leading initiatives to continuously improve algorithms used for pricing
    • Working with cross functional teams to deliver financial goals by designing and implementing sales policies.
    • Maintaining open communication and developing a good working relationship with counterparts in Industry Relations and Marketing .

    What you bring to the table

    • University Degree (Masters is an advantage) in Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering or comparable
    • Good understanding of business, economics, and business intelligence
    • Experience in an analytical role and/or data analysis is an advantage
    • Experience in an eCommerce-company and/or the Travel Industry is an advantage
    • Excellent understanding of the English language, both verbally and written
    • Good communication skills
    • Ambitious, driven and known to show initiative
    • Flexible and independent
