Applied Medical is currently looking for an IT Technician to join our team in Amersfoort. The IT ServiceDesk is the first point of contact for IT related questions. The primary task of this position will be to troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues for remote- and office employees. Ranging from basic requests or complex issues that require immediate resolution or escalation. These duties will be performed in compliance with policy guidelines and within timeframes as defined in the team’s SLA and/or project requirements.
In addition, you will work closely together with the internal ServiceDesk and Network Support team in the US and you will report to the IT Service Manager.
Provide first- and second-line IT support for Applied Medical team members in Europe
Maintain asset and ticket administration
Provide technical PC, software, and telecom support
Deploy, maintain, and support company desktop computers, laptops, (mobile) telephones and other network attached devices
Perform printer maintenance and user account management
Provide user training
Develop and maintain manuals and documentation
MBO education level, preferably in IT
1 + year working experience in an IT Support role
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Experience with mobile device support and platforms such as IOS and Android
Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Outlook, MS- Teams and Azure
Strong knowledge in ITIL processes
An MCP or equivalent Certification is preferred
