Out of the Global Security Program there are many IT security projects defined that needs to be delivered. Working as an IT project manager within the IT security delivery team you will be contributing to GEA’s continuing maturity in security and compliance by managing and delivering related IT projects.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
The IT security project manager will be responsible for delivering projects related tot the creation, improvement and decommissioning of IT security systems, services and applications. This role will report to the Head of Service Delivery IT Security and be based in Bakel, the Netherlands.
Main tasks are:
Effective execution, coordination and organization of multiple IT security projects
Develop, refine and manage project plans to ensure on time and on budget delivery of IT security solutions
Negotiate the assignment of required project resources within GEA IT organization as well as resources from external IT service providers
Proper reporting of project status to the project boards, to the head of service delivery IT security, to the CISO, to the service owner(s) and to other stakeholders
Identify and manage risks to the successful delivery of IT security projects
Keep track on pending issues and escalate where necessary
Ensure the proper implementation of new services or solutions from IT security in partnership with the IT security service owner and other stakeholders
Change management activities that are related to the project deliverables
Excellent, timely and effective communication about the project to all stakeholders
Your profile and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
3- 5 years of experience in project management specifically within IT security projects
In depth familiarity with project management frameworks, particularly Prince 2 (certification preferred)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban (certification preferred)
Experience as a program manager/multi project manager desirable
Familiarity with information security risk management principles on a high level such as ISO 27xxx
Ability to work with an international team of experts
