    IT Lead IT Systems W&R in the Client, Banker and Data tribe

    Working in a challenging and international environment to enable Rabobank in providing relevant financial services to our Wholesale and Rural clients. As IT Lead Client, Banker and Data (CBD) you are responsible for leading and coaching several DevOps teams with the aim to improve the overall experience of the wholesale and rural client journeys.

    DevOps teams are the foundation of our IT organization. They work under mandate and are self-organizing; as an IT Lead you make this possible by solving their impediments. You also coach the teams in the change to high performance teams. Together with product management you work on the execution of the digital ambitions of Rabobank.

    Department and delivery unit
    The Wholesale & Rural domain within IT Systems supports the wholesale and rural bank across the globe. The CBD tribe delivers and supports global business systems, including process automation in the areas of CRM, Client onboarding, KYC, Client Data Management, Cognitive Capture and Document Management. Examples of applications we develop and/or support are: ClientLink, Banker’s Cockpit, AMS, GCOB, PARIS/Evian, FileNet, DataCap, Party Module, GCDS, WRR Datahub and the RBB portal. These applications vary in their life cycle, some applications are at the very beginning and some are at the end of their life cycle. The technology is a combination of ‘home grown’ applications and IBM, Appian and Microsoft package configurations.

    You can be a key success factor in meeting those ambitions within the CBD tribe.

    • Delivery management of the CBD applications, managing both change and run for the bank within DevOps teams in a balanced way and within budget;
    • Facilitating professional development of expertise and continuous growth as part of DevOps journey within the DevOps teams;
    • Driving the In Control agenda within the DevOps teams;
    • Stakeholder management & collaboration over IT departments and with the business (specific with product owners);
    • Ensuring delivery status transparency to senior stakeholders formally and informally;
    • HR responsibility for the internal personal within the DevOps teams, including performance management and recruitment;
    • Responsible for managing the capacity and capabilities of the DevOps team;
    • Responsible for developing vision, strategy and roadmap for the DevOps teams, together with business and Senior Management;
    • Take the lead in case of emergency (COT/CMT procedures).

    • HR responsible for several DevOps teams regarding people and talent management in the KYC area and the Data & Connectivity area.
    • IT capability building for the chapter members and continuous upskilling and reskilling of internal staff in order for these teams to be ready for the future of work;

    • Take responsibility for availability and continuity plan;
    • Shape the IT roadmap/ vision for the tribe together with the business and senior management;
    • Guard the consistency of the IT landscape with other IT Leads and architects;
    • Assure execution and drive continuous improvement;
    • Drive an engineering culture;
    • Address IT impediments of the squads;
    • Shares knowledge and innovation across the chapter;
    • Have responsibility for IT budget and actuals of the squads;
    • Manage internal suppliers and (IT-)vendors, including SaaS vendors.

    Your Profile

    • Academic working and intellectual level in the field of Computer Sciences or Business Administration;
    • At least 10 years of experience in the ICT sector;
    • Experienced in team building and management of teams of this size (30+ FTEs), including HR responsibility;
    • Affinity with business processes and objective;.
    • Good command of English (business level);
    • Knowledge of and experience with Scrum, Lean, LeSS and DevOps;
    • Knowledge of and experience with development, testing, deployment and monitoring methods;
    • Experience with continuity management and COT/CMT procedures;
    • Experience in supplier management;
    • Experience with different delivery models from local to nearshore and offshore.
