About the job
As an IT Asset Manager, you are responsible for the hardware and software asset management of IS/IT within Thales Netherlands. You support our teams to make solid decisions based on your insights on capacity and lifecycle management.
You are part of the End User Services squad, together with the warehouse manager, contract manager, controller and service engineers. Each with their own area of expertise. It is important that you have a clear vision on IT Asset Management and can effectively engage stakeholders.
You are responsible for
Keeping the organization’s IT assets under control by developing and maintaining clear policies and processes.
Taking IT hardware and software asset management to the next level.
Life Cycle Management of IT assets and advising on the application, replacement, phasing out or expansion of IT assets.
Monitoring software licenses and managing the processes.
Delivering reports with the most important KPIs.
Being the key-user and subject-matter expert for the ServiceNow platform used within IS/IT.
In this position, you will be in close contact with members of your own squad as well as members of the other quads within the IS/IT department, colleagues from the Purchasing department and suppliers.

What you will bring into the role
You have bachelor’s degree or higher (for example in IT, logistics or administration).
A strong interest in IT Service Management.
Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform is an advantage.
You are analytical and like to get things right (accurately).
You are a team player.
You understand the importance a customer-oriented approach.
You have the ability to communicate efficiently in Dutch and English with different types (technical, management) of stakeholders.
