    Issue Manager Energy Markets

    This will be your workplace

    Location for this position can be our headquarter in Arnhem (NL) or Bayreuth (GE). Frequent traveling to other place, often Brussels.

    Your contribution to TenneT

    In this position you cover the ENTSO-E Market Committee (MC), which means:


      • you have a good understanding of how the ENTSO-E association is structured, especially under the Market Committee. You have a good overview of the Working groups under this committee and their responsibility areas.
      • You understand the Market Committee topics and their importance for TenneT.
      • You use your knowledge and organisational skills to prepare the MC members for their MC meetings, i.e. ask for and collect the right messages from the right colleagues representing TenneT in the various working groups so that the TenneT MC members have the knowledge and arguments at hand to intervene, support or oppose topics relevant for TenneT
      • You coordinate between TenneT Netherlands and TenneT Germany where needed, to ensure a proper representation of all relevant internal stakeholders for an optimum external recognition of the TenneT position. This also involves bringing together diverging positions between different departments and teams.
      • You keep track of all the written voting procedures from the ENTSO-E Market team, making sure that they are answered in time with aligned input from the relevant colleagues.
        With this broad overview, you give input to the Board and Assembly meeting preparations regarding the Market Committee agenda topics in the coordinated wa

    Your Profile and background

    • A Master's Degree in Engineering, Economics or comparable
    • You are experienced in the area of electricity markets, regulation and ideally other parts of the TSO and Energy world
    • You have the ability to combine detailed knowledge in some areas with broad overview, and the ability to adapt communication to the addressees' level
    • You have a network in TenneT, and/or ENTSO, and/or the relevant Brussels scene that helps you with input and information
    • You have a self-propelled way of working, selecting the right topics to concentrate on
    • You are fluent in English which is the working language of our team
