    WHO YOU ARE

You see things a little differently. So do we. We believe that what you value is more important than what your CV says.
We offer positions that will challenge your skills and let you grow. Come and see things a little differently with us.

You are passionate about creating an IKEA fit for the future with the customer at heart. As a person you are energised by contributing to overall success and results through collaboration. You find it inspiring to work together in an ever-changing complex environment.

To be successful in this role, you have international experience in Renewable Energy Investments and an understanding of cultural differences, you have a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. in finance, economics, engineering) or equivalent work experience with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant transaction experience. You demonstrate the ability to manage tasks and people effectively, with purpose, to negotiate and support large and complex acquisition projects in an international environment.
Having a track record of achievement in renewable energy- or other relevant financial asset acquisitions at project level is vital. You have strong financial skills with the ability to review and analyse technical & regulatory aspects and build relevant financial valuation models.

You have knowledge in the following areas:

    • Expert knowledge in Mergers and Acquisitions with proven track record, for instance at an investment firm or advisory service partner in financial, strategic or operational advisory services applicable to acquisitions and disposals.
    • Knowledge of energy/electricity markets.
    • Basic knowledge of windfarm or solar park construction contracts and construction methods.
    • Experience of direct management of power generating projects, preferably wind, is a plus.
    • Experience in working with manufacturers in the renewable energy industry as well project developers is a plus.
    • General knowledge and interest in how to balance and merge environmental, social and economic aspects to define sustainability and how IKEA uses that knowledge in striving to make business within the limits of the planet.
    • General knowledge and interest in how to strive for renewable energy transformation and increase energy efficiency.

In addition to this, we believe you show good judgment, high level of integrity, trustworthiness and maturity (independence); you can prioritize and take sound and common sense decisions. You have a strong drive to build and share knowledge. You get energized by contributing to overall success and results through collaboration and get inspired by working together in a multi-dimensional, multicultural and multinational environment. You are fluent in English (both spoken and written).

And, of course, you share and live the IKEA culture and values and have a genuine interest in home furnishing.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Ingka Investments is one of the 3 pillars of the Ingka Group, acting as a strategic partner to Ingka Retail (Ikea stores) and Ingka Centres, by securing financial strength for future growth and by making investments that contribute to making Ingka Group the world’s leading multichannel home furnishing retailer and to achieving its People & Planet Positive strategy.
