    Internship (Marketing Procurement): Global Junior Buyer

    You will be part of the Global Marketing Services (Topline) Procurement Team part of the Cycles & Procurement organization based in Hoofddorp (near Amsterdam), the Netherlands. You will be exposed to the full Topline scope: Media, Advertising, Strategy & Insights and Shopper activities within the Indirect Procurement across all 3 business divisions (Essential Dairy and Plant-based Products, Waters and Specialized Nutrition).

    Data is at core of tomorrow’s marketing functions, as a Junior Buyer, your main missions will be to support the Global Marketing sourcing team on different activities, with a specific focus on data collection and management:


    1. Sourcing:

    • Markets analysis and benchmarks
    • Help developing and aligning new global sourcing strategies across divisions and countries and track/support coordinate implementation new processes and tools
    • Support on global and regional projects: tenders, e-auction, associated remuneration models and framework agreements

    2. Efficiency/ Effectiveness Program implementation:

    • Produce dashboards of savings and other relevant within the clusters/ regions/ WBUs
    • Support local procurement teams on building business cases and embarking stakeholders
    • Support the roll out of key ad tech/ mar tech solution as part of Danone digital transformation
    • Produce budget spend reports and conduct analysis (eg quarterly media tracking, working media/non-working media analysis)

    3. Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Monitor quality of service and performance of key suppliers including distribution of service level performance survey and analysis of results

    You are a Masters student in Business Administration with majors in Procurement, Sales and/or Marketing . Previous experience in any of these fields is a big plus! You have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills. You have an analytical mindset and are able to structure and make sense of data in order to take action. You are able to work within a dynamic matrix organization using your robust networking and communication skills . You are fun, proactive, and curious. You can work in a team but also independently and remotely. If you have letters of recommendation, please include them in your application.

    There are also some compulsory requirements:

    • Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
    • Ideally available to start in February 2021 for 6-12 months, 5 days per week ;
    • You are fluent in English - spoken and written;
    • You are able to work from Hoofddorp, Netherlands if the COVID-19 situation allows us to go to the office.
    • You must acquire a BSN number to be able to complete this internship.

    The Global Marketing Services Procurement Team is a diverse group with 10 people and 7 different nationalities!     We offer a gross monthly internship allowance of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month and a contribution towards travel if required. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
