As our new Material Analyst Intern you will be part of the Milk & Plant-Based Finance team working from our offices at Danone Place Amsterdam (DPA), in Hoofddorp. The team focuses on analyzing, co-leading and consolidating the forecast and spend of raw materials such as milk, dairy ingredients and plant-based products throughout the different regions of the organization to understand the performance vs the market and the total impact on the company’s COGS.
Throughout your internship you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:
Perform spend analyses across Milk categories (Liquid milk/local DI/Plant-based)
Conduct market inflation estimation and reporting
Support with Finance BI improvement
Preparation of monthly RF/AOP presentations for Category Cycle reviews
Milk data collection and reporting campaigns (Calame & Microstrategy)
Prices, projects and volumes analyses review and support for RF (Tagetik tool)
We are looking for a HBO/Bachelor/Master student in Finance or a related subject with strong analytical skills in Excel and excellent command of Powerpoint. You have an affinity with performance management software and are eager to learn more about this field. You are able to use and analyze data in spreadsheets. You are eager for development, growth and are excited to gain valuable business experience. You have a ‘team-player’ attitude and have an agile and adaptive mindset. You are also a self-starter with a ‘can do’ mindset, always ready to jump in to support your team. Knowledge of Targetik, Power BI and previous relevant internship/work experience will be considered as a plus.
Next to this, there are a few eligibility requirements:
Enrolled as a HBO/Bachelor/Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
You can start as of November/December for 9-12 months, 4 to 5 days a week;
You are fluent in English – written and spoken;
You are able to work in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands
Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.

We offer a gross monthly internship allowance**of 450 (HBO students) or 550 (University students) euros per month and a home working allowance/contribution towards travel if required. Please do keep in mind that we do not offer relocation and/or accommodation benefits for students coming from abroad.
