The challenge

Shimano is phasing out the IBM Notes software and we are looking for an intern who can support us with understanding which applications in IBM Notes need to be replaced and why. In this internship you will have to investigate which applications are currently used and understand the purpose and process of the applications. You will map the owners and users of these applications, and check which applications overlap. The goal is to migrate from current applications to standard solutions/processes. Next to this you will investigate the financial impact of reducing the number of applications and clarifying governance.

During this internship you will also support with optimization of business processes.

What are we looking for?

• You are ideally working towards a bachelor level study (HBO) towards International - and/or Technical Business Management.
• You are looking for a practical (3-years) internship (not a graduation internship).
• You are available for 5 months.
• You have excellent English and Dutch skills (verbally and written).
• You have strong analytical skills and you can work independently.
• Your classmates would describe you as a self-starter, curious and accurate.
