    Internship: Business Analyst Trade Partner Services (Non-Thesis)

    Job Description

    Start date: We prefer students able to start as soon as possible, no later than Q1 January or February 2021

    Duration: 5-6 months. We do prefer students able to extend their internship until a maximum of 12 months.

    We are not able to support this internship assignment with a thesis. For this reason we do require an availability of 40 hours per week to work on all projects.

    In this role, you have the opportunity to

    Analyze critical process related to the Philips Trade Partners worldwide, standardize and improve business reporting, and create new performance management reporting.

    You are responsible for

    • Support Markets, businesses and functional organization in analyzing critical trade partner processes
    • Create a Daily Management Board for the Services and Solutions Partnerships team
    • Create new standard reporting relevant for the Indirect Channel
    • Perform a SWOT analysis of existing service dashboards to determine the relevancy for the Indirect Channel

    You are a part of

    The Services and Solutions Partnership team. You will work in a highly motivated team and with stakeholders across Philips from Markets, Businesses and functional organizations worldwide. You will be coached during the internship by senior business analytics and performance management people

    Due to the current COVID19 situation we fully support you in working from a home based situation. If the situation will change the management will inform you the possibilities to return into an office environment.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

    • Currently studying towards your University Master in Sciences degree in: Finance, Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics
    • Preferred expert level of Microsoft Excel skills
    • Ability to summarize complex data in comprehensive visuals
    • Preferred knowledge in SAP, Qlikview, SQL, Oracle database structures
    • Good level of English (will be the day to day language)
    • Curious, organization skills, eager to learn
    • Project management is a plus
    • Ability to work effectively with senior people across different cultures and collaborate effectively with global teams located around the world
