Your role as a Trainee – Project Delivery Onshore Wind
You will be working on Onshore Wind construction projects in (one of) the Vattenfall countries during the procurement and construction phases of these projects.
During the construction phase, the Project Delivery Trainee will support the Project Managers in our team in safely delivering a successfully constructed and efficiently operating wind farm project to the budget, timescales and quality standards that were determined at Final Investment Decision (FID). During the procurement phase, the Project Delivery Trainee will support the procurement process and the Development Manager in reaching the FID. The role will be to ensure that the main construction phase contracts (i.e. wind turbine package, civil works package and grid works package) are secured to a sufficient standard to enable seamless execution of the project during the construction phase.
On our Construction projects we have a large variety of different (project management) roles working together as a team to deliver to a high standard. The Project Delivery Trainee would have the opportunity to get acquainted with how we procure and build our projects by exploring these different roles and disciplines, start developing the competences and gain the experience required to work on our projects. We are flexible in shaping the roles and tasks for the trainee, based on demand from the projects, personal preference and background.

You support the projects &/or the Project Delivery organisation with specific projects or tasks, which can vary from running data analyses, to organizing an event, to managing an improvement initiative, or assessing a problem and coming up with- and implementing solutions.
