    Intern Strategic Projects

Our mission is to be the leading digital enabler for entrepreneurs in Europe. To support our growth we are continuously looking for opportunities to acquire other hosting companies. NL has a position open for a commercial and pro-active intern to assist in maintaining our M&A (mergers and acquisitions) pipeline.

    What your day will look like

    • Refine, maintain and enrich the list of companies (M&A targets) that the M&A manager would like to set up meetings with.
    • Research who the decision maker is that the M&A manager would like to arrange a meeting with.
    • Schedule and plan kick-off meetings.
    • Prepare and brief the M&A manager so we’re well prepared for the meeting.
    • After a promising meeting, document the findings and request more detailed information in order to do the analyses.
    • Assist in the number crunching.
    • Working remotely with two days a week from the office in Leiden (Deventer is also an option).

    What you have

    • Commercial and a bit bold.
    • Not afraid to grab the phone and keep chasing until you find your lead.
    • You’re a student with a commercial profile, currently enrolled in an HBO/WO program preferably in the direction of Business Administration, Economics, Creative Business or Strategic Management.
    • You’re a real sales tiger.
    • You are open-minded with an enthusiastic and open approach, preferably with some IT background or affinity.
    • You never stop learning and improving.
    • You like taking responsibility and you can work independently.
    • Someone who enjoys working and learning in an ambitious and international environment
    • You thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
    • Able to work 3-5 days a week.
    • High level of Dutch is strong pre.
