As our new Recruitment Intern, you’ll help searching for the right candidates, interviewing and sending out offers next to improving our recruitment process. You will have the opportunity to be part of an amazing HR team, join the full cycle recruitment process and gain actual working experience in an international environment.
Here’s what we’ll do together:
In this internship, you will experience what it means to work in a HR team and support hiring managers in the recruitment process all over the world from our international headquarter in Amsterdam. The daily tasks of the recruitment intern include updating our recruitment system with new requisitions, ensuring that job specifications are properly written and formatted, screening of candidate profiles and coordination of various recruitment activities, i.e. interviews. At G-Star, you will get the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that is leading in denim innovation and sustainability.
Updating new recruitment assignments into various systems and databases, ensuring that new requisitions are directly processed and visible to relevant HR team members.
Keep the total recruitment overview up-to-date.
Stay in contact with external agencies to find the perfect candidates.
Reviewing, updating and formatting job profiles following our internal standards, and uploading job specifications into our recruitment system for job advertisements.
Publishing job advertisements on internal and external job boards and social media.
Screening of incoming applications for various positions across the business and creating a selection of candidates to be assessed further / interviewed.
Scheduling phone / personal interviews between managers and candidates.
Organizing relevant forms and documents to be complete and correspond to company standards.
Be leading in internship recruitment and in building the intern community.
Supporting employee onboarding processes and arrangements.
What you bring to the table:
You have strong affinity and ambition for talent acquisition and employer branding. Within your study, you have started to develop a picture of how to best attract and match the right candidates for an organization.
You are a pro-active, energetic and driven intern who wants to learn by doing.
Preferably, you are interested in Retail, Fashion or the Lifestyle Industry.
Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Affinity with systems and technology.
During the time of your internship you are enrolled at a Dutch university or college.
If you are a non-EU student you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment from your university or college.
You are already living in the Netherlands and (you are prepared to) have a Dutch health insurance and willing to sponsor your own daily travel costs.
Add a Bachelor/Master in a Human Resource related education and you’ve got our full attention.
Finally, do you have a strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English? We’d love to meet you!
