    We are currently seeking an Intern for our Atelier with a passion for tailoring, quality, details and fashion for our Product Development Department. In this role you know what’s happening in the industry and you’re familiar with the latest trends and developments.
    Our Intern Atelier will assist in all our daily tasks during the developments of our in house toiles & mock-ups for all our Product Groups. You will assist our Tailor with quality compliance and the timely completion of toile developments. Working together with Pattern specialists, Tailors, Product developers and Design, you safeguard the unique G-star look & feel.
    G-Star offers you a challenging position in a creative environment at one of the world’s most innovative companies, where you will share responsibility for transforming creative designs into high quality end products.

    This is a Product development internship for someone who would like to gain more experience in either this area or on an organizational/coordination level. You will assist our in house tailor & pattern specialists.


    What you bring to the table:

    • Strong fashion sense and detailed-oriented
    • Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and embroidery machine
    • Strong skills in 2D pattern making (Gerber system) and 3D pattern making (CLO3D system)
    • Creating size charts by measuring 2D patterns
    • Good communication and organizational skills
    • Team player
    • Be flexible and accurate
    • During the time of your internship you are enrolled at a Dutch university or college
    • If you are a non-EU student you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment from your university or college
    • You are already living in the Netherlands and (you are prepared to) have a Dutch health insurance and willing to sponsor your own daily travel costs

    Finally, do you have a strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English? We’d love to meet you!
