Integrated Risk Consultant
As Integrated Risk Consultant Climate Risk, you will drive the Risk function with focused responsibility for Climate Risk including Physical and Transition Risk. You will be responsible for delivering insight into the risks in our global portfolio for climate risk and will define the next steps on how to address these risks.

Day to day
Review the regulatory requirements regarding Climate Risk, such as the Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), and how that may impact DLL.
Aligned with Rabobank’s Climate Risk team and methodology, identify based upon DLL’s current portfolio where the climate risks are.
Categorize DLL’s portfolio in transitions risks and physical risk including high risk regions and high impact sectors. Develop a climate risk heat map in cooperation with Rabobank’s Climate Risk team.
Analyze required and available climate risk data within DLL, interacting with the business and the financial team. Define gaps and improve climate risk data.
Define and manage the program including risk assessment and related methodology; governance processes; and action or project management plan(s).
Prepare memos for a wide variety of stakeholders regarding the regulatory requirements, the climate risk in our report to gain insight what DLL is required to do.
Prepare a plan and recommendations, based on the climate risk analysis, for a long-term climate risk approach for DLL after the initial 6 months.
Develop a communication strategy to bring senior management up to speed regarding the external developments and how this may impact DLL and create a joint vision with senior management how to address this now and in the future.
Create a report in which the development of the climate risks is identified/measured at a global, regional and GBU level.
Disclosure of required TCFD recommendations in DLL’s Annual Report in cooperation with the financial team.
Monitor changes in laws, rules and regulations relating to climate risk and work with Rabobank Climate Risk team how to interpret this, resulting in clear presentations and memo’s how to implement these within DLL.
A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, systems, or related field
At least 7 years working experience
An intrinsic motivation to care about climate and sustainability
Strong knowledge of regulatory climate risk related items and strong knowledge of DLL’s business
Strong communication and presentation skills
Specific experience in equipment leasing and vendor finance
Experience of successfully embedding policies, procedures, and processes into a multi-national organization
Experience in creating clear reporting by data
Ability to take responsibility and be proactive on new matters and projects
