    Vacancy

    Oikocredit International is looking for an Integrated Investments Analyst based at our headquarters in Amersfoort. The Integrated Investments Analyst is responsible for a) Portfolio build up and b) Portfolio management & quality both while keeping in mind the triple bottom line impact.

    Main responsibilities

    With regards to portfolio build up, the Analyst is responsible for reviewing financing proposals, assess strategic fit, deal structure, ESG profile, counter-party and product–related risks and check data for accuracy. To do so, the analyst liaises with the relevant (senior) investment officers. Based on the provided input the Analyst draws conclusions, finalizes credit risk project assessments and presents these to the Credit Committee. This includes reviewing the project’s social relevance using the ESG scorecards and reviewing the environmental assessment for category A projects. On a rotating basis with the other Analysts within the unit, the Analyst is responsible for the minute taking during the CC meetings.

    With regards to portfolio management & quality, the Analyst is responsible to ensure that submitted projects, contract changes and other requests are responded to diligently, within a reasonable amount of time. Also, he/she contributes to improvement initiatives and the development, maintenance and upgrading of tools relevant to the Integrated Investments Analysis Unit.

    In addition the Analyst is expected to support in the knowledge sharing within the Integrated Investments Analysis unit and with other staff within Oikocredit.

    Profile

    • Master’s (or Bachelor’s) degree in the field of finance, economics, business administration or similar
    • 2-3 years’ experience (or 4-6 years in case of BSc) structuring deals and/or assessing loan proposals/ credit facilities for financial intermediaries, MSME’s or corporates in emerging markets
    • Experience with and good knowledge of microfinance, agricultural and/or renewable energy sectors, highly desirable
    • Strong interest in developing countries and/or social investing
    • Stakeholder management skills
    • Thorough knowledge of English is a must. Proficiency in other languages (French and/or Spanish) considered an asset
    • Excellent command of MS Office
