Instrument Service Technician
We are looking for a highly motivated and problem-solving, Instrument Service Technician to join our instrument service team at our distribution center located in Hoofddorp.
Since you’ll be working in an electronics-based workshop environment, we will provide you with safety equipment e.g. ESD protective clothing and we would like you to follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI). You should also maintain a clean & organized work area to help ensure the service area a pleasant workspace for yourself and your colleagues.

In this Role:
You will be working on servicing, repairing, maintaining, and modifying microprocessor based electronic instruments and components
The instruments are medical devices such as blood, urine, milk and water analyzers. A typical assignment involves problem identifying, troubleshooting & problem solving of equipment, using computerized web-based test systems, and recording necessary data digitally
You will also perform a variety of manufacturing tasks such as assembling, cleaning-up, packaging, and inspecting the repaired or refurbished products before they are ready for shipments.
This also means frequent moving & lifting instruments (up to 20 kilo) will be expected.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
You will be a self motivated problem solver with good trouble shooting skills
You will have an aptitude for electronics/mechanical repairs
You will be strongly detail oriented, with excellent organisational skill
You will have the ability to read and interpret documents in English (safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals)
You will effective communication skills and have the ability to escalate difficult issues when needed
