As Inspector, you are responsible for conducting inspections in accordance with approved Inspection Test Plans and the required quality level. You review progress status at suppliers and document the approval status during stage inspections. You liaises with the assigned certifying authority surveyors and issue and close-out non conformance reports and punch lists where required. You report all findings at the supplier with a “close-out call’ tot the Expeditor and/or responsible Engineer. After each inspection visit, you provide a detailed Inspection Report. In addition, you authorize the release of equipment/ material by issuing a Release Note, if applicable in conjunction with the certifying authority surveyor. You issue inspection waivers in conjunction with and approved by the responsible Project Engineer.
An independent Inspector with strong planning & organisational skills. You are willing to travel on a regular basis. Furthermore:
You have a Technical College degree
Over 5 years of experience in inspection within the offshore or oil and gas industry
Your English is good, verbally as well as in writing
Computer literacy for MS Office
NDE Levels II or equivalent
