Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Services is looking for a BDE for Hybrid Cloud Services to join our team. You will guide clients and solution sales teams in the adoption of Hybrid Cloud and sell services on top of this Hybrid Cloud platform. You will define solutions to address client business problems and are accountable for delivering value to clients and IBM.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will serve as IBM’s point of contact for Hybrid Cloud Sales across the market
Be a trusted advisor to our clients and help them connect their business strategies to their hybrid cloud strategies
Understand our client’s strategic needs, business objectives, and then articulate and formulate proposals and statements of work which are aligned
Evangelize IBM managed service offerings within our community and also within Partner sales teams
Drive joint Go To Market campaigns, business development workshops to build and maintain pipeline on a rolling basis, build references and case studies
Establish client value propositions that tie key strategic, financial, and operational metrics directly to near and long-term business improvement
You having a winning mentality able to influence external senior stakeholders whether they be Head of Architecture, CTO’s, or IT Directors

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Lead technical sales discussions with clients from executive to C-level, including a proven ability to define and shape winning Hybrid Cloud solutions for clients and how this service is managed
Solution mind-set - Ability to connect the dots to conceptualize a solution, value proposition and create a blueprint translating into an offering
Experience leading solutions on proposals and responses for new business, as well as complex multi-year / high value & cost managed services
A strong team member and individual contributor, passionate about sharing knowledge and best practice
Proven years of experience in a quota carrying solutions sales role or other technical sales role
Certified and knowledge of the main cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, Red Hat, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Industry expertise in FS, Insurance, Automotive, Retail
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong CxO relationships and ability to build and maintain these
Competitive knowledge of the container industry including Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, VMWarre Tanzu and Pivotal
