    HR Generalist

    About the role

    As an HR Generalist you work on a strategical, tactical and operational level for your leadership area. You support your area in all HR related matters from recruitment, through the full employee journey until they leave Inter IKEA.
    You will belong to the HR operations team with colleagues located both in Sweden and The Netherlands, where currently 8 HR generalists and 4 HR administrators work closely together.

    Your main responsibilities:

    • Together with People & Culture Leaders and managers in your leadership area you secure and provide the business with talents through a solid recruitment process, throughout the whole journey, always in line with the IKEA values.
    • Lead and support our recruiting managers in the onboarding process when welcoming new colleagues in to CBF.
    • Lead and contribute to improving, implementing and applying the HR processes and procedures, in order to provide the right support to co-workers, managers and other stakeholders.
    • Proactively provide HR subject matter expertise and support in areas such as re-integration, working conditions and legal matters
    • Support in all HR processes within your leadership area together with the relevant People & Culture Leaders and other managers.
    • Support and coach in change management projects and assignments together with People & Culture Leaders, other business leaders and support functions.
    • Together with the People & Culture Leader of your leadership area you actively work on developing the HR agenda in your area through presentations, workshops and meetings with all managers and/or co-workers.
    • Secure that any internal communication and information around local HR matters in your area of expertise is accessible, accurate and creates the right expectations.

You enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment and appreciate the mix of tactical and operational tasks. You reflect the IKEA values and lead business through people.

    You accomplish goals, complete tasks, take actions and achieve results with the right prioritisation. You feel comfortable working independently with little steering and can work individually while knowing when to involve others and ask for their input or help.

    You communicate in a clear, down-to-earth and straightforward way and are able to give constructive, open and honest feedback. You feel comfortable doing all communication, verbal and written, in English since this is a requirement for the role.

    You build trustful relationships, involve others and co-operate with co-workers throughout the whole organisation.

    We see that you bring 3-5 years of working as HR Generalist with preferred experience of sourcing talents within Digital and IT. You have good knowledge of Dutch labour law, relevant rules and guidelines and illness related processes. Knowledge of Workday as an HR system is a preference.
