    HR Business Partner, Benelux (temporary maternity leave cover)

    About The Role

    The HRBP oversees the HR function for Benelux, partnering with the business on people-related items such as compensation, employee relations, and HR best practices, as overseeing Recruitment (which is managed by the HR Generalist).

    As HRBP, you will also be responsible for rolling out global projects and initiatives related to talent management, employee engagement, and policy development.


    • Coach and influence Managers on people-related topics to ensure that decisions are in line with current legislation while remaining commercially aware.
    • You will be the go-to representative from the HR team to employees with queries, suggestions and updates in relation to their employment compensation, annual salary adjustment process, administration of benefits and learning and development opportunities.
    • As part of the Benelux Management Team, partner with the other members to ensure their input and buy-in is taken into account on various global initiatives.
    • Represent the company during all relevant interactions with the Works Council.
    • Partner with VP, International HR and other international HR team members to help facilitate consistency in the HR practices throughout all of VICE's global locations.
    • Oversee employment compliance with local labor laws and, in partnership with VP, International HR and the Director, HR Legal Affairs manage legal issues related to employment and termination of contracts, employee relations matters and compliance.
    • Address potential employee and organisational issues to ensure that employment practices reflect the values and culture of the organisation.
    • Manage 1 team member (HR Generalist)

    Required Experience

    • Strong generalist HR background (5 - 8 years) and experience of complex HR issues including employee relations cases, redundancies, dismissals, change management in an international, matrix environment.
    • Strong track record as being a "change agent" on matters of employee culture,
    • Excellent computer skills using MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Mac systems and Google Suite.
