The Global Shared Services (GSS) organization within DNV GL provides high quality, cost effective services and processes within Human Resources, Finance, Real Estate Management and IT. GSS has consolidated the HR service delivery into Regional Centres where proximity to the business areas is required and has built a Global Centre HR in Poland that delivers services that are location independent or can be digitalized. The GSS HR Region West, South and East Europe (WSEE) is located in the Netherlands (Arnhem), with country offices in Italy and Greece and a local hub in Spain and France. In this region we provide services to 1.800 employees located across 20 countries, such as HR advisory, recruitment, employer branding, compensation & benefits reviews, labor law advice and payroll.
We are seeking a HR Advisor.
As the HR Advisor you are responsible for supporting two senior HR Advisors of our WSEE Regional Centre with operational HR tasks mainly for our Dutch legal entities located in Arnhem, Groningen and Barendrecht (app. 600 employees). You support the Advisors who advise line managers and Business Area HR on a broad spectrum of topics, recruitment and C&B needs and collaborate closely with the HR Expert team in Arnhem and the Global Centre HR in Poland. You will also participate in regional topics and projects.
Key tasks:
- Support handling all kind of individual employment related cases in a timely manner
- Handling visa and work permit procedures for international hires and support with onboarding
- Support with HR reporting and communication
- Keep up to date with employment law developments
- Recruitment: interviews with candidates
- Employer branding: organizing webinars, events, cooperating with universities
- Cooperate closely with Global Centre team in Poland to ensure adequate HR services to our customers
- Bachelor’s degree in HR
- Experience in HR, ideally in a multinational environment is a plus
- Knowledge of Dutch labor law
- Excellent English and Dutch language skills required, written and verbal
- Experience with international onboarding and visa (IND) procedures is a plus
- Positive, can-do, and pro-active attitude, quick adapter to change and willingness to go the extra mile
- Able to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Understand customer needs and the sense of urgency, take ownership to ensure solutions, make things happen and deliver high quality results on time
- Structured and accurate, meticulous attention to detail
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
